Big Idea: The time you spend with Jesus will bless you for all time

X2: Jesus has peace and strength to give you that can only be found in spending time with him.

 #1: We can only follow what we see and hear

vs. 1 Jesus was led by the Spirit….

• We are invited to follow in a rhythm (daily/weekly)
• NOT AS HARD AS YOU MAY THINK

#2: Spending time with Jesus on a daily basis does not necessarily look like what you think

• Many would have remembered Nativity story 30 yrs before…
• Where does Jesus first appear? Dessert! No one expected.. even John the Baptist!!
• For us? all made differently: 4 elements: stillness, centering, silence, Scripture

o               YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO EXPERIMENT UNTIL YOU FIND WHAT WORKS

o   Be careful of lawyer voice trying to talk you out of it with lies/doubts

• Test if working? Deeply rooted Joy is the unit of measurement

#3: The goal is to be with Jesus / sit at his feet / grow as friends

• Bible is library of stories of people engaging with voice of God/Word of God
• Scripture Component: one verse, one word, Psalm, Gospel story
